Upper Valley Connections Announces a New Website for the Arts

THE UPPER VALLEY ARTS ALLIANCE FINDS A NEW PARTNER!

By Louis Cornell, UVAA
statement from UVAA eDigest #121

The Arts Alliance has recently formed a partnership with Upper Valley Connections, a successful new venture providing regional information via its own website. Together with UVAA, Connections is completing work on a comprehensive online arts events calendar and resource listing, focusing on the visual, performing, and literary arts in and around the Upper Valley.

With the active support of the Alliance, Upper Valley Connections will provide residents and visitors with a user-friendly website that unites arts events and resources in one central location. Additionally, a new biweekly email newsletter will replace UVAA's eDigest, offering a selective listing of arts events and resources as a free service to subscribers.

The new website is about to launch, using the UVAA’s old URL: http://www.uvarts.org/. Visit the site to get acquainted and find complete information on how artists and arts organizations can utilize this new resource, which will create a medium for both free announcements and paid advertising.
The website provides full contact information, but for your present convenience the new email address is arts@uppervalleyconnections.com.

Geraldine Fowler, the website and newsletter editor, invites you to send your announcements and comments to this address. The older email address — info@uvarts.org — will continue to operate, but we ask that you use it only for material relating to the Arts Alliance itself, not information or comments destined for the new website.

Upper Valley Connections and the Arts Alliance are confident that their partnership will open a new chapter in promoting the wealth of artistic activity that the Upper Valley has to offer. Meanwhile, this is the final number of the UVAA eDigest, which I’ve been editing for over four and a half years. I greatly appreciate the support of you, our subscribers, and of the artists and organizations who have taken the trouble to supply us with a steady stream of information about our vibrant arts community.

Thanks again, and good night—

Louis
