A New After School Program

Yes, school will be back in session before we know it, where did the summer go?  Certainly some of you are already thinking about schedules and how to handle afterschool care and schedules, etc.  We were just informed of a new after school program being offered by the Upper Valley Events Center in Norwich.

Educational Director Janna Generaux has created an "Afterschool Superheroes" program that takes advantage of the home-like facility, expansive outdoor play areas, and the individual creativity of kids.  You may know Janna Generaux from the popular Summer Days Camp.  She's offering a program that is tailored to the children attending featuring a homework help program with a professional tutor, creative activities such as science experiments, cooking and art projects and outdoor activities at the Event Center including the bouncy castle, pirate ship playground and a large field for play.

Afternoon Superheroes packages range from one day to one month or for 90 days (half school year).  You only pay for the days that your child attends the program and all materials are included in the program fee, including a healthy snack.

The program is for children in grades 1-6 and has openings for 30 children this fall, homeschoolers are welcome.  Hours are 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.  For complete information please contact the Upper Valley Events Center at 802-649-2772 or visit their website at www.afterschoolsuperheroes.net.
