April Vacation Highlights


Happy Vacation Week!

Many usual activities may be cancelled this week so you may want to call first about story times & play groups.  Montshire has daily experiments going on and we've heard about a few other events happening this week.  If you know of others, feel free to submit a listing on our site or send an email to info@uppervalleyconnections.com and we will be sure to add it.

Sunday, April 15th
 11th Annual Flavors of the Valley at Hartford High School: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The premier expo for locally grown food in the Upper Connecticut River Valley.Sample lots of local food items, meet local farmers and chefs, and buy their products.

 Tuesday, April 17th
 Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals at Lebanon Library: 10:30 AM - 11:30 PM
and at Howe Library in Hanover: 1:30 PM -2:30 PM
Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals brings a large collection of beautifully handcrafted and life sized stuffed hand puppets and marionettes to young audiences across New England.

Wednesday, April 18th
 Vermont institute of Natural Science presents “Cold Blooded Critters”: 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM
Learn about turtles, snakes and salamanders with live animals!

Thursday, April 19th
 Rockets at Montshire Museum: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM 
 Build and launch a water rocket and see how high it will fly! We will learn about how air can be compressed as well as how a rocket moves through the air.
